Summary Sea Rescue ()

An educational documentary series that showcases stories of rescue, rehabilitation and return to the wild of marine animals by a team of dedicated vets, animal care experts, animal science researchers and government authorities.

A humpback whale is dragging a mass of commercial fishing gear in its mouth so a rescue team in Hawaii races to save its life. Then, an unlucky sea turtle in Florida has swallowed not one, not two but three fishing hooks. The SeaWorld Orlando team prevents its death by saving its life.

"Sea Rescue" highlights the work done by the SeaWorld Rescue Team and its partner organizations as they rescue marine animals in danger. The weekly series shows the teams as they rehabilitate the animals and return them to their natural habitat in the water. Veterinarians, animal care experts, animal science researchers and government authorities are among the members of the crews working to save animals -- including whales, manatees and sea lions -- from such mishaps as oil spills and the creatures getting caught in fishing line.
